Further planning commenced today for our interview. We listed ideas for the artists name, the interviwers name, location ideas for the setting, name of the tv programme and what the idea of the interview was.

By the end of todays planning we had fully decided what our filming project was to be. It was going to be a 'comeback' interview of a amde up artist called Sasha who had recently stopped recording music due to a car accident to suffered from a while back. The idea of the interview was to show that she was now back in shape, back in the studio recording and is in the middle of bringing a new album out and going on tour to celebrate her comeback. Throughout the interview we thought it woud be good for her to be promoting her new music video 'Love the way you lie' (Copyright of artist Rihanna) consisting of Sasha talking about her new video 'on set' of the filming and to have random clips of the music video placed in the interview as a taster of whats to be released.

10.02.11

Today was the day we had to get into groups for our filming project. Our group consists of me (Hannah), Tilly and Charlie. We got straight to brainstorming ideas on what we could do. It was a choice between an interview, music video, new report or film trailer. We decided to do an interview of a music artist, therefor haf to come up with ideas for who the artist would be and what the interview would consist of.

21.10.2010 Exposure, Focus, Framing, Shooting

In this session we looked at the different types of video cameras and looked at how they work and how to put the tapes in them. After having a fiddle around with the cameras, in two's we were told by Charlie to go off and experiment with filming with the cameras. Me and Tilly walked around the Hull University Campus filming random buildings and trees, we looked at how to change the focus and how to makesure we had the right exposure in different light.

4.11.2010 Audio

We looked at different types of audio and discussed what different situations we would use them for. For example, the clip on microphones can be used for long distance filming or weather reporting, or the hand held microphone can be used for interviews.
